Terrance E. Erdman, D.C., P.C.

Dr. Erdman has been practicing in Tigard since graduating from chiropractic college in 1976. He is married with two children and four grandchildren. He attended Logan Chiropractic College in St. Louis, graduating from the University of Western States after discovering the life-changing benefits chiropractic care can provide. “While working on a drilling rig at 19 years old, I thought I had a bad low back because it hurt most of the time when work and doing heavy lifting. It was no incapacitating but bothersome until working in Bellingham one day, my upper back went into spasm and the driller made me see a chiropractor. His treatment was a one adjustment miracle and shortly after I sought treatment for my lower back, the pain was alleviated immediately and I was able to continue with my same work routine. Chiropractic care changed my life!”

Dr. Erdman is certified in Advanced Graston Technique, a registered Trigenics Practioner and he is a Certified Posture and Exercise Professional (CPEP). Dr. Erdman is also certified in electric acupuncture (electrical stimulus/no puncture) which is utilized for joint and extremity pain. Dr. Erdman can provide light pressure techniques such as arthrostim, drop table adjustments and standard techniques such as Diversified, Gonstead and Applied Kinesiology.

Mary J Vaandering, LMT, #17996

Mary has always had compassion for people and a generous spirit . At a young age, she realized that massage therapy would be a great way to channel that healing energy. After attending Portland State University and achieving her bachelor’s degree, Mary went on to attend East West College of the Healing Arts, graduating in 2010. Throughout her education and career, she has studied many different types of massage. Knowing the importance of client responsiveness to massage as well as career longevity, led her to focus on Ashiatsu as her primary technique. This deep compression therapy is very relaxing as well as therapeutic for the muscles and the body as a whole. Mary’s knowledge of the body coupled with her knowledge of massage allows her to tailor each massage to fit her client’s specific needs. In her free time, Mary enjoys spending time with her family and friends, visiting the beach, and attending sporting events.

Dorothy Smith, LMT, AT #12437

Dorothy has been practicing massage in the Portland/Tigard area since receiving her license in 2005. Knowing first-hand, the difference one feels with touch is what guided her down her current path. While her initial training was in Swedish massage, she continues to increase her skills and knowledge by attending classes most recently the John F. Barnes* myofascial release technique. She believes in addressing the person as a whole, and not a specific list of symptoms. She combines all of the modalities she’s learned with a deep intuitive sense to provide her clients a personalized healing massage. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and family.
